December is a busy month with lots of entertaining being done.  Here are a few fun, not to mention delicious courses you may like to try.  The chocoate one sounds absolutely mouth watering !!!!

Ultimate BBQ Cooking Course - 3 Classes

Location - Kirribilli (Sydney)
Cost - $270.00

Your BBQ cooking class commences with a beer on arrival and an introduction to the group covering what we would most like to achieve from the lesson or course. Aprons are provided to all students to get into the mood for cooking up a storm.

In this cooking class you will learn all there is to know about cooking meat, seafood, vegetables and desserts on the BBQ, successfully.

Our experienced chef demonstrators introduce themselves and outline what is to be achieved from the day. In our BBQ Meat lesson, we cover aspects of important methodology around temperatures and resting meats to ensure that you can really impress at your next BBQ at home. We then get straight into demonstrating the first dish where all participants are integral in the production, management and serving of all dishes.

 We sit down together as a group to share in our first creation with a detailed wine tutorial matched to our first course.

We then embark on our next course covering all parts of BBQ myths and secrets and work together via an initial demonstration to achieve our next course served together.

You'll then be given the tongs and lifters to re-create the meals with hints and tips from our experienced chefs.

In our BBQ Seafood lesson, we look at the how and why to achieve really moist and crisp seafood including key buying tips and hints to ensure we are purchasing and receiving exactly what we set out to; the freshest possible product.

We again enjoy a detailed wine tutorial matched to our lunch with hints to best varieties and vintages to serve when we next fire up the BBQ.

In our Vegetable and Dessert class, we finish off the lesson with some great ways to complete a great afternoon barbecuing for friends or family with interesting desserts and vegetables to complement any meal from the BBQ.

Session Length - Classes are held on Saturdays, once a fortnight. Please book well in advance of your preferred date. Please arrive at the venue at 11am for an 11.30am start. Classes end at 2pm.

Numbers on Day - We operate with 12 – 20 people in each cooking class plus 2 experienced chefs. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, you will be contacted via email the Thursday prior to your experience to offer an alternate date for the class.

Exotic Middle Eastern ''Mezze'' Cooking Classes -  
(this has been very popular one and bookings are available from 19 April 2008)

Location - Drummoyne (Sydney - New South Wales)
Cost - $ 80.00 per person

A ''Mezze'' is best described as a selection of entree style dishes, similar in concept to that of Spanish tapas or an Italian anti-pasto. A mezze will impress your friends and family and is the perfect way to start a dinner party. During this half-day class you will learn how to make the delicious dishes listed below: Hummus - a dip made with chick peas and a sesame paste called tahini Baba ghannouj - a dip made with eggplant and tahini Fattoush - a refreshing salad made with toasted Lebanese bread Tabouleh - a salad made with tomatoes, parsley, mint and burghul (a type of cracked wheat) Falafel - vegetarian patties made with chick peas, parsley and traditional Middle Eastern spices.

Session Length - The lesson is 3.5 hours starting at 9:30am sharp and finishing at 1.00pm. This middle eastern adventure takes place on Saturdays and is subject to availability.

Our classes are limited to 8 students per session.

Chocolate Sweet Sunday Walking Tour

Location -
Cost - $ 55.00 per person

 Indulge in the delicious combination of coffee and chocolate cake in a Sydney arcade described as “the most beautiful shopping centre in the world”. Discover how chocolate made its way from South America to Europe and Australia, and how much chocolate Australians eat compared to the rest of the world!

On a visit to a fine Australian chocolate shop, you'll participate in some sumptuous samplings of their chocolate creations.

After discovering the delights of Swiss chocolate, it's time to go on a walk through an 'underground chocolate tunnel' for further tastings in this Aladdin's cave of chocolate treasures. A palate cleansing experience with gelato sampling completes this sweet indulgence.

The tour concludes with a hot chocolate or coffee in the luxurious and relaxing surrounds of one of Sydney's five star hotels. A truly delightful place to conclude your Sunday stroll through Sydney's sweet heart!

Or why not add some sparkle to your day and conclude with sparkling wine and chocolate petits fours instead of a coffee. What a special way to conclude our Sunday stroll through the city's sweet heart!

This activity takes place through the streets and underground walkways of the
Sydney retail area. This is a walk over flat footpaths and roads, and includes steps in to and out of some of the underground areas.

Your tour includes 2 hot chocolates/coffees, chocolate cake/samplings, gelato and tasting notes. Or if you opt for the "sparkles" option it includes 1 hot chocolate/coffee, 1 sparkling wine, chocolate cake/samplings, chocolate petits fours, gelato, tasting notes.

Session Length - Approximately 2.5 - 3 hours.

Numbers on Day - We operate with a minimum of 4 participants and keep groups to a maximum of 10 participants to ensure a more personalised experience.
