Description
Peas (Pod) - Develop in a pod which is about 5-7cm long however is used only for the spherical seed. We are bright green in colour and have a sweet juicy flavour.
Snow Peas - Edible, flat-podded peas, containing tender and sweet seeds. Both our pods and small seeds are edible.
Selection, Storage & Handling
Choose fresh, firm, bright green peas that are not shrivelled or wilted. Store in an airtight bag in refrigerator crisper.
Nutritional Values
Low in fat and sugar and high in fibre. Contain Vitamin C.
