Description
A thin and glossy, edible smooth skin with a very juicy flesh which contains soft edible seeds. Round in shape however some varieties can be heart or egg shaped. Red to yellow skinned in colour and are grown on either a vine or a bush.
Selection, Storage & Handling
Select bright coloured tomatoes that are free from blemishes.
Ripen at room temperature then store in the refrigerator crisper.
Nutritional Value
Excellent source of Vitamin C, low in sugar, contain fibre and fat free.
