Large citrus fruit with thick skin.

Selection, Storage & Handling

Grapefruit are harvested ripe and ready to eat. Store at room temperature. Use within 7 days. Extend storage by refrigerating. Choose heavy fruit, lighter fruit can have thick skin and minimal flesh and juice. Small blemishes on skin do not reduce quality of fruit.

Nutritional Value

The grapefruit is an excellent source of vitamins B5 and C, a good source of dietary fibre and potassium. 110kJ/100g.
